Gastroenterologist– Full-Time
Join our team in beautiful Northern Ontario!
The Timmins and District Hospital (TADH) is seeking a full-time Gastroenterologist to join our innovative, multi-disciplinary referral and teaching hospital.
The successful candidate will provide coverage in a fast-paced referral based facility, with the ability to take over an established practice that includes patient management and follow-ups. This position includes participation in the endoscopy call schedule, with no requirement of Internal Medicine or Intensive Care Unit call coverage. The Gastroenterology on-call would support the Emergency Department and Hospitalist Program with urgent scopes and consults. TADH provides on average 3,185 yearly endoscopic interventions. The gastroenterologist will also enjoy an excellent working relationship with the General Surgery group, who have advanced training in colorectal surgery.
There is also an opportunity to teach and mentor medical students and family medicine residents, through affiliation with the Northern Ontario School of Medicine.

Compensation is a combination of Fee-for-Service, a lucrative Northern Specialist Alternate Payment Plan, and a HOCC On-Call stipend.
