Family Medicine Faculty Physician - Associate Medical Director

Dartmouth Health’s Department of Community and Family Medicine is seeking a board certified Family Medicine physician for the role of Associate Medical Director of Primary Care at our Heater Road practice in Lebanon, NH. This practice is a multi-specialty site with providers specializing in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. The candidate will direct primary care operations locally and collaborate with other primary care leaders across the Dartmouth Health system. The role also involves alliance with our population health and community health partners. Past experience in managing a group practice is preferred but not required. This is a growth position with the option of moving into the role of Medical Director for the motivated candidate.

The Family Medicine team at Heater Road is an integral part of a dynamic Primary Care group that has a focus on clinical and educational quality improvement, population health, and the development of new models of care delivery. We strive to provide team-based, high-value quality care to all patients within an academic setting where teaching, learning and scholarship is central to our work and mission. Unique aspects of our practice include Family Medicine physicians who have additional training in Sports Medicine, Sleep Medicine, Functional Medicine, and Addiction Medicine, and we provide the potential for leadership development opportunities. Our integration within Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center provides for unique collaborative relationships across an extensive array of specialties, as well as tremendous technical and administrative support.
