Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Regina, SK for a Clinical Pharmacist. The Clinical Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe use of medications for patients in the hospital setting through review of medication orders, medication monitoring, and interaction with healthcare professionals. The Clinical Pharmacist will also provide medication counselling to patients and families, support medication safety initiatives, and contribute to the education of healthcare professionals and students.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Saskatchewan College of Pharmacists
• Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Experience with electronic medical records and pharmacy systems is an asset
• Continuing education in clinical pharmacy practice is encouraged and supported
