Locum Physician

Job Title: Physician or Surgeon

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician or Surgeon to join our team at the Nottawasaga Family Health Centre. This is a locum position in our outpatient facility, offering a unique opportunity to provide high-quality healthcare services to our diverse patient demographic. Our facility serves a patient volume of over 1600, and we are committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. The successful candidate will be expected to work approximately 6-8 patient hours per day, with no on-call requirements. The compensation type will be discussed during the interview process.

Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional patient care in an outpatient setting.
• Conduct regular thorough examinations on patients to check their health status and diagnose diseases.
• Prescribe appropriate medications or therapies for optimal patient health outcomes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to form a high performing medical team.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in medicine and participate in professional development activities.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited school and licensed to practice medicine.
• Proven experience as a physician or surgeon in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and compliance with medical laws and ethics.
