Clinical Audiologist

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone testing, speech audiometry, and tympanometry.
• Interpret test results and make appropriate recommendations for treatment or further evaluation.
• Fit and dispense hearing aids, including selection, verification, and counseling on proper use and maintenance.
• Provide counseling and education to patients and their families on hearing loss, communication strategies, and hearing conservation.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients with hearing loss or related disorders.
• Stay current with advancements in audiology research and technology.

Experience:

• Minimum of a Master's degree in Audiology. Doctorate degree preferred.
• Current member of CASLPO in good standing.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to audiology.
• Experience working with patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric populations.
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
• Familiarity with a variety of hearing aid brands and models.

Salary: $70,000.00-$90,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
