Unit Manager - RN/LPN - Day Shift, Full-Time

Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services (DON):

+ Oversees and ensures timely and appropriate care is provided for a specified group of residents for whom the Unit Manager - RN/LPN is responsible

+ Coordinates the scheduling of caregivers, resident assessments, and monitors and coordinates other healthcare providers for this select group of residents to ensure appropriate care is provided in a dignified and caring manner

Qualifications / Requirements

+ Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license (RN preferred)

+ If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a supervisory capacity

+ Experience in nursing supervision and care coordination preferred

+ Must have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language

Wage Range*: $31.00/hr-$36.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Base Wage: $33.00/hr (RN) and $31.00/hr (LPN), Negotiable (DOE)

Weekend Differential:: $2.00/hr

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.10/per year, up to ten (10) years
