Responsibilities:

• Provide dietary services in accordance with company guidelines and federal and provincial laws and regulations
• Complete assessments of our Residents and adapt nutritional plans as needed
• Implement personalized nutrition strategies
• Deliver client nutrition recommendations to nurses and aides
• Provide nutrition education and counseling for patients

What you need to succeed:

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Dieticians of BCE
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with peers, residents, visitors, and operational partners to uphold our Optima Living values
• Experience as a consultant dietician is considered an asset

Conditions of Employment

• Completion of First Aid
• Clear Police Information Check
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check
• COVID-19 vaccination proof. This requirement may be waived if you have received an exemption through the provincial government
