Job Title: Optometrist Facility: Vogue - Gander We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Optometrist to join our team at Vogue - Gander . This is a permanent position. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye and vision care to our patients. They will perform various functions, including eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems and eye diseases, and prescribing corrective lenses. The compensation type for this position is fee for service. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive eye and vision tests Diagnose defects of the eye, such as myopia, astigmatism and color blindness Prescribe corrective lenses and medications Participate in decisions about eye care for patients Requirements: Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree Valid license to practice optometry in Newfoundland & Labrador Strong diagnostic skills and ability to use optometric equipment effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills We are looking for a candidate who is committed to providing exceptional patient care and who has a deep understanding of all aspects of optometry.
