We are looking for 1 full-time or 2 part-time Dietitians.
As a new, private health clinic for women, we are seeking an experienced, compassionate Dietitian with expertise in women’s health, with a passion for menopause care, to join our midtown Toronto clinic in a permanent full-time or part-time position. Lume is an elevated healthcare destination for women where the focus is on empowering healthy aging in a preventive, personalized and holistic manner. We provide best-in-class care and personalized attention to help every woman feel her best through effective, empathetic, and evidence-based care. You will be asked to provide initial dietitian assessment sessions and ongoing follow-up care to assist patients in optimizing their nutrition for all stages of life, with a focus on healthy aging through menopause. The Dietitian's schedule will consist of either 5 in-person clinic days per week for a full-time position or 2-3 in-person clinic days per week for a part-time position. In-person sessions occur in a beautifully appointed and freshly renovated midtown Toronto clinic. Interdisciplinary case consultation and support is available with our team physicians as needed.

Your key responsibilities
· Conduct client-centered assessments to identify clients’ dietary needs and develop tailored nutrition care plans that meet individual client needs.
· Lead follow-up sessions focused on adjusting nutrition care plans as necessary to uphold the highest standards of care.
· Maintain detailed and accurate clinical records of assessments and progress notes in patient health records, monitoring, reassessing, and evaluating for optimal outcomes, and communicate these results with other healthcare team members as needed.
· Educate and empower patients while promoting positive decision making to optimize health and well-being.
· Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during bi-weekly clinical team meetings, and ongoing team training sessions.
· Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth and development in the field of women’s health, and menopause.
· Keep up to date with scientific nutritional studies and evaluating program effectiveness.
· Plan and conduct nutrition education programs and develop educational resources.
· Communicate with patients in a warm, caring and effective manner.
· Foster a safe, caring, and supportive environment where patients feel seen, heard, validated, empowered, and energized.
A bit about you
· Current registration and in good standing with the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
· Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, nutrition, or a closely related field.
· Professional liability insurance that meets the guidelines set by the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
· Clinical experience in providing nutrition therapy for women during perimenopause, and menopause.
· Experience in assessment, treatment planning and provision of nutrition therapy, for women during perimenopause, and menopause.
· Strong counseling skills, able to adapt to clients’ personal learning needs to ensure the best client-centered care is offered.
· Exhibit a passion for making a difference in the lives of their clients.
· Commitment to ongoing learning and innovation.
· Able to collaborate with other allied healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and holistic client care, demonstrating a team-oriented approach.
· Able to adapt to a dynamic and changing environment, demonstrating flexibility in approaches and willingness to adjust to ensure optimal client care.

Compensation will be structured as an income of $45 per hour, for 16 to 40 hours per week. Lume Women + Health will provide patient referrals, electronic medical record, booking coordinator, and case collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
