Charge Nurse - RN/LPN - 2nd Shift, Full-Time / Part-Time

ABCM Corporation - Nora Springs Care Center and Summit Heights Independent & Assisted Living () Nora Springs, IA $32.00 to $35.50 per hour

Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing Services (DON):

+ Supervises nursing team members who provide direct resident care

+ Communicates with all healthcare providers and partners

+ Coordinates and implements nursing care as ordered by the physician and agreed to by the resident

+ Documents resident status/care/services in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner

+ Responsible for the provision of nursing services within the scope of licensure and in compliance with current standards of practice and corporate/care center policies and procedures

+ Follows the plan of care and ensures the overall health and well-being of each resident

Qualifications / Requirements

+ Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN license

+ Experience in skilled nursing/long-term care (LTC) preferred

+ Knowledge and understanding of federal and state nursing facility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC, and Public Safety

+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills

Additional Information

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time

Shift: 2nd Shift (2p-10p), including Every Other Weekend; Flexible Scheduling

Wage Range*: $32.00/hr-$35.50/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Base Wage: $29.00/hr (RN) and $27.00/hr (LPN), Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/per year, up to ten (10) years

2nd Shift Differential: $5.00/hr
