Receptionist/Administrative Assistant (Bilingual is a Must) Full Time Only

Our Brand new beautiful dental office which is growing fast is looking for a dental receptionist, experience with Dentrix is preferred.

Our ideal candidate will be friendly, out going and highly organized, and a team player. This position is flexible from part time to full time and very flexible for the right candidate. You will be working with an excellent dental receptionist but she works only on part time basis.

Your tasks will include:

• Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice.
• Entering insurance payments (cheques etc to Dentrix on the system)
• Assisting patients to fill out information forms.
• Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed.
• Updating patient records.
• Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephone reminders.
• Verifying methods of payment and collecting payments as needed.
• Communication with insurance companies.
• Performing general office duties, such as answering telephones, photocopying, filing, and faxing.
• Help chairside as needed.
• Provide support to dentist, hygienists and staff as needed.
• Prevent the spread of infection and disease by maintaining a proper work environment.

• Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:

• Administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
• Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
• Experience with Dentrix software is preferred.

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
