Position Information

Temporary until approximately March 27, 2025. This position covers mainly Same Day Care Unit (SDCU) but may also cover acute inpatients units, including surgical units.

Rotation/Shifts: Days and evenings, including weekends, 8-hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy OR equivalent program recognized by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO);
  • Successful completion of registration and examination process for physiotherapy as set by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO);
  • Working knowledge of regulatory standards set by licensing board (CPO);
  • Eligible for Certification in CPR and/or First Aid;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills;
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving abilities;
  • Eligible to work in Canada;

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent experience in acute care including surgery;
  • Physiotherapy Residents will be considered;
  • Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
