Locum Physicians needed!

We are a brand-new clinic located next to the bus loop (Carvolth Exchange) in Langley. A lot of homes are being built in the area, so there will be a lot of new families looking for family doctors. We have not only physicians but also a Nurse Practitioner and full MOA support available. Pharmacy is attached. A new physician-designed clinic is currently being built around the area (2 minutes away) and will be ready to open by the end of this year.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Physician to join our team. This position includes the flexibility of virtual work, allowing you to provide exceptional care to our patients from the comfort of your own home or office. You can choose your own work schedule, but a regular physician works 2 days from home and 2 days in the office (4 days/week). Clinic hours are 9am to 5pm (last patient at 4:30pm). No walk-ins, evenings or weekends shifts. This position also does not require on-call duties, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance.

As a locum, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients on a temporary basis, filling in for a physician for 4 months (February 2025 - May 2025). The duration can be covered by one locum or split amongst a few - we are fine with any period of coverage in the time period. We are prioritizing February initially and then each month there-after.

Compensation for this position will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on experience, qualifications, and coverage (physician-specific).

Qualifications Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License (Full), Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) (Mandatory), Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) (Mandatory)
