Dental Assistant/Receptionist

We are looking for a Level 2 dental assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a calm, caring, mature, reassuring and friendly demeanor. Flexible with excellent communication skills, ability to multitask, and the willingness to learn. Excel at building strong trusting relationships which supports all team members with the day-to-day activities in the clinic, helping to ensure everyone's day is a positive one.

You will help with, sterilizing instruments, setting up rooms for surgical procedures, preparing patients for surgical treatments, chairside surgical assisting, providing postoperative instructions to patients, recording treatment information in patient records, taking intra-oral radiographs and CBCT scans. Our dental assistants also assist in new patient exams, by collecting and recording medical / dental histories and patient vital signs, taking intra-oral photographs, educating the patient on their condition and recommended treatment and entering their recommended treatment plan in the dental software.

We don't expect you to be experienced in all aspects of this job description; we will be providing you with a lot of training, so that you can excel as our newest team member. Hours are Monday to Thursday, 7:30 to 4:45. Apply in confidentiality by sending your resume to brian@kingstonperio.com
