Family Physician
Our client is looking for several Family Medicine Physicians to join a network of other physicians as part of a Family Health Team which services the community of Brant and the surrounding area. They have offices located in 3 picturesque towns located in southwestern Ontario.
The Village of Ayr is an exceptionally intact nineteenth-century village with numerous historic buildings and cultural heritage landscape features. The village dates to 1824, when Abel Mudge constructed a sawmill and grist mill at the junction of Smith's Creek (now the Nith River) and Cedar Creek.
Paris is located just down the road from Scotland and not too far from Cambridge, contrary to popular belief, Paris, Ontario was not named after Paris, France. It got its name from the gypsum deposits that lay along the Grand River which runs through town. The gypsum was used to create Plaster of Paris to make walls and ceilings and hence the town became known as Paris. It has been voted the prettiest little town in Canada!
St. George is a small village with a population of 3,354 according to the 2021 Census. St, George is home to many small festivals including the apple harvest festival. It has been tagged as Canada’s friendliest little town!
Our client offers a variety of services and programs to meet the needs of the community. In addition to the care that you receive from your family doctor, the Community Family Health Team (PCCFHT) includes other health care providers (nurses, dieticians, social workers) available to support your needs. The programs aim to increase the quality of your health, by either helping to manage current conditions or assisting in preventing future health problems.
