Duties - Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and providing patient care - Prepare and package medications for distribution - Maintain inventory of medications and supplies - Process prescription orders and insurance claims - Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries
Skills - Proficiency in medication administration and dosage calculations - Knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical abbreviations - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling medications - Ability to provide compassionate patient care and maintain confidentiality - Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and procedures - Certification as a pharmacy technician is preferred, but not required
As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team in delivering quality healthcare services.
