Andaluz Waterbirth Center is an accredited free-standing birth center in the Portland area seeking a certified nurse midwife to join our team!

Established in 1998, Andaluz is the longest continually operating free-standing birth center in Oregon. Our midwives provide comprehensive, family-centered prenatal, birth, and postpartum care in our beautiful birth center. Our team is a combination of CNMs and CPMs supported by birth assistants. Our collaborative administrative team allows the midwives to focus on client care. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with respectful, safe, culturally competent, professional care with a personal touch.

Andaluz is a strong presence in the Portland community. We offer a variety of classes, workshops, and support groups to best support families and help build community. We have active email lists and a strong social media presence to further connect families with one another.

We are seeking a midwife who is empathetic and compassionate, who is passionate about the birth center model of care, and who prioritizes safety and family experience. Professional experience in community birth settings and facilitating waterbirth is preferred.
