Maternity Leave Locum Position at Well-Supported FHO/FHT in Cambridge

Looking for a maternity leave locum to start in September 2024 at the well-supported Two Rivers FHO/FHT in Cambridge, ON.

I am looking for coverage for 6-9 months, but dates can be flexible and divided among multiple locums if needed.

• 6 half-days / 3 full days per week
• No after-hours or weekend requirements, no on-call requirements
• 1200 patients, well-managed, balanced age spread from babies to seniors
• Appointments are generally booked average of 4 per hour, each half-day includes 3 hours of patient care

Telus PS Suites EMR with VPN access, on-site IT support

Full-time nursing support for triaging, injections, and vaccines at well-baby visits

Office with 12 other collegial family physicians who can answer your questions regarding local resources

Excellent allied health supports in FHT include pharmacist, social work, diabetes education, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, dietician, foot care nurse and consulting psychiatrist

Procedure room available for IUD insertions, lumps and bumps, joint injections

McMaster residency teaching site with teaching opportunities available if you are interested

Remuneration $150/hr of patient care and additional compensation for lab/paperwork time, 80% of third-party billings (minus overhead) and keep your shadow billings. Please contact me to discuss the details.

Cambridge is about a 20-30min drive from Kitchener/Waterloo and Guelph, and approximately 40min from Hamilton.
