Med Clinic, an outpatient family and walk-in facility, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Physician or for a permanent position. Our clinic is committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to our diverse patient demographic. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality medical care, and who can effectively manage an estimated 150 patient hours. This role does not require on-call duties, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a variety of diseases and injuries, providing preventative care advice, and conducting follow-ups with patients. They will also be expected to collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Our compensation model is fee for service, private patient (with overhead) deducted income while rewarding efficiency and quality of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical services for patients on a scheduled basis and walk-ins.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions and diseases.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to plan or provide treatment.
• Advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
• Conduct follow-ups with patients to monitor and track their condition and progress.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited school and CPSO licensed to practice medicine.
• Proven experience as a Family physician in a similar clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of examination methodologies and diagnostics.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions in a clear manner.
• Compassionate and approachable with excellent bedside manners.
