Geriatrician

Southwestern, Ontario

Full time Opportunity


POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

Our client in Southwestern Ontario, is seeking a full time Geriatrician.


Our client operates six hospitals. Their mission is to offer Quality Health Care, Right Here. They have 1,900 dedicated and compassionate staff and over 150 physicians who work together delivering excellent patient care to residents and visitors across their area. Scheduling is five, 8-hour shifts per day, including 16 hours of double physician coverage daily. Their Regional Hospital is the largest of their sites, and offers a full range of specialty services, including complex surgeries, total joint replacements, cancer surgeries, MRI and CT diagnostic services. Across the six hospitals, they have more than 100,000 patient visits per year.Their rural hospitals offer a wide range of primary and ambulatory care services and all have 24/7 Emergency departments, lab and x-ray.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A medical degree is required.
  • Certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or equivalent qualifications will be considered.
  • Candidates must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
  • US Board certified Physicians are eligible for an independent license in Ontario.
