Langley City Family Practice is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Physician to join our clinic. We are a well-established practice with a patient volume ranging from 1200 to 4000, providing comprehensive healthcare services to the community. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, working collaboratively with our healthcare team of 7 physicians in the heart of downtown Langley with great physician support and office manager, maintaining the highest standards of patient care and professionalism. Our clinic is a full service family practice with a range of experienced physicians who are also involved in maternity, hospitalist, MAID, Long Term Care, etc. There is significant help in office from 4 nursing staff and multiple MOAs. Locums are always welcome year-round (both short term and long term) and brand new EMR we use (MYLE) is very user friendly. Hours of work are flexible.
As a Locum Physician, you will be expected to step in and provide seamless care to our patients, ensuring their health and wellbeing are our top priority. You will be responsible for diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions, performing routine check-ups, and providing preventative care and health education to patients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a compassionate and patient-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Clinic hours are 9am to 5pm. No weekends shifts. The duration can be covered by one locum or split amongst a few - we are fine with any period of coverage in the following time periods:
Compensation for this position will be discussed during the interview process and will be based on experience, qualifications, and coverage (physician-specific).
Qualifications Current College of Physicians of BC (CPSBC) License (Full), Canadian College of Family Practitioners (CCFP) (Mandatory), Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) (Mandatory)
