FHO locum in Stouffville for maternity leave

Start date: Dec 2024 for 9 months (until end of August 2025). Duration of coverage flexible.

Location: Stouffville, Ontario. A few minutes walk from the GO station in charming, downtown Stouffville and 15 min drive from Markham Stouffville Hospital.

Roster size: approx. 950 patients. Well managed practice ranging from infants to the elderly. Very few complex patients. Great for a new grad!

Schedule: looking for 4 half days per week + 1 evening 3 hr walk in shift per week + 1 Sat 3 hr walk in shift every 6 weeks (our FHO is expanding so the # of walk in shifts may decrease by the time the locum starts).

Remuneration: $500/half day + 75% shadow billing/WSIB/3rd party payments. Our practice participates in an annual block fee program so the locum will also get a portion of these payments prorated to the length of coverage.

EMR: PS Suite, includes remote access + Ocean messaging.

Clinic: FHO practice with 4 other supportive and friendly physicians. MOA will triage patients and do their vitals. You will have your own office. There is a pharmacy, imaging clinic and physiotherapy clinic in the same building. Free underground and outdoor parking.

Our FHO is expanding so there may be an opportunity to stay on and grow your own practice if interested!
