Job Title: Sports Medicine Physician / Primary Care

Facility: Thrive Medical Clinic

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Sports Medicine Physician or non Surgical Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at Thrive Medical Clinic.

This is a consultant position which is equipped with a gym connected to our onsite Physiotherapy Clinic where the physician will have full access to assess any patient.

The candidate can collaborate with the both our primary care physician team or onsite physiotherapist and will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to our patients, including diagnosing and treating sports related injuries injuries, and other related physical conditions. This role does not have any on-call requirements, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

The compensation for this position is fee-for-service, providing a competitive income based on the services rendered.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of d injuries.
• Perform routine check-ups to assess patients' health and detect any health issues in their early stages.
• Develop personalized care plans for patients based on their health conditions and needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated and integrated care.
• Stay updated with the latest medical research, treatments, and procedures to provide the best care possible.

Requirements:

• Medical degree
• Valid license to practice medicine in the BC.
• certification in a medical specialty of Sports Medicine or Equivalent( CASEM Diploma in Sport Medicine)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and their families.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Our office is in busy Ironwood Plaza in the mall. Large volumes of patients are available for both Walk-in and Long term care. Ironwood Plaza has a Starbucks, and endless choices for food options . Easy ground level parking. We are just off the 99 fwy and Steveston Hwy so if your commuting , its only 20minutes from both Delta/ South Surrey/ White Rock and Downtown Vancouver.
• We are signed up for the business cost premium if you bill MSP old model, we are a registered facility for LFP new billing model. We have a large lunch room with coffee available in house and can host seminars at lunch.
• Work Environment We have 10 examination rooms as well as a procedure room with the benefit of a large clinic space. Our Multi-Physician Clinic offers a collaborative environment. Our Clinic is attached next to Synergy Rehabilitation which offers Physiotherapy, RMT, Chiropractic services. We also have Sleep Apnea Screenings services done at our clinic on a weekly basis. Experienced MOAs and work staff. Efaxing through the EMR, can be done on your phone remotely.
