The successful candidate will have a minimum of one year of clinical fellowship training in neuromuscular disorders, including electrophysiology. In addition, the candidate will demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, collegiality, and personal effectiveness. The Neuromuscular Program has a robust clinical trials program and leads a national registry for rare neuromuscular disorders.
There will be opportunity to participate in the ALS multidisciplinary clinic, conduct electrophysiology studies, and deliver care in the Neuromuscular Clinic. There is the opportunity to do inpatient general neurology service at one of our Calgary hospitals, however this is negotiable. Within all clinical activity, it is anticipated that the successful candidate will contribute to education through clinical teaching of medical students, residents, and neuromuscular fellows including bedside teaching.
