Full Time Opportunity

Our client, in Central Alberta is seeking a full-time FRCPC certified Anesthesiologists to join its department at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre in the community of Red Deer Alberta 

The hospital provides a comprehensive gamut of services including general, orthopedics, plastics, ENT, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology and obstetric surgeries, with 12,500-12,750 surgical cases performed annually.

Inpatient Hospital Services - Pending Hospital Privileging:

• Obtain and maintain a Medical Staff Appointment and appropriate privileges to provide the Services;
• Provide anesthesia for both elective and trauma surgical procedures;
• Additional anesthesia services are provided for an obstetrical operating room, a satellite day surgery centre in Innisfail, AB, and a pre-admission clinic. 
• Provide call assistance as per call schedules,
• Contribute to and participate in other administrative responsibilities, as assigned;
• Work collaboratively with peers and care team colleagues in support of patient care
• There is also opportunity for participation in medical teaching

Required Qualifications:

• Medical Degree with specialist training in Anesthesiology
• Must have or be eligible for Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada –sponsored position – supervision available
• Must have or be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta
