Every summer, Cadets attend youth summer camps to expand on their training and to network with Cadets from across Canada. These camps require the support of qualified medical professionals to respond to a wide range of healthcare needs from the campers.
Primary Care Physicians are needed to perform physical examinations, diagnose and manage common health conditions, perform selected diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, counsel patients on preventive health care and facilitate access to health services and referrals. Education on communicable diseases, responding to first aid concerns, and supporting mental health needs will be daily aspects of the role.
