Mandatory Vaccination

As per the current Public Health Orders (Long Term Care/Seniors Assisted Living Provincial Health Order and the Health Sector Order), as of October 26, 2021, all employees working for Providence Health Care must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Proof of vaccination status will be required.

About Providence Health Care & Foundry

Opportunities are currently available for Nurse Practitioners at the Foundry Vancouver Granville clinic. Owned and operated by Providence Health Care, the clinic provides physical & sexual health, mental health, substance use, peer support and social services via a multi-disciplinary team to youth between the ages of 12 and 24.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and treat patients for undifferentiated diseases, disorders, and conditions.
• Monitor ongoing care and order appropriate diagnostic investigations.
• Establish priorities for management of health and provide follow-up treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to determine appropriate resources.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals.
• Completion of the Basic Cardiac Life Support Course, Level C.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families about health findings and treatment.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
