This position is for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to work in CCC's Primary Care department with a primary assignment at the Blackburn Center. This position provides primary, urgent and acute care to a population of low-income adults with a broad range of physical, behavioral and social conditions. Successful applicants will understand the value of harm reduction and low-barrier buprenorphine prescribing and will be flexible and responsive to highly vulnerable patients. Demonstrated skills in primary care medicine and licensure to practice medicine in Oregon is required of all applicants.
Where You'll Work
Central City Concern's Blackburn Center is a six-story building that includes a health care facility and pharmacy, along with 175 units of respite care transitional housing, palliative care housing, transitional low-income single room occupancy and permanent housing. The two-story, 40,000-square-foot health clinic provides comprehensive case management and integrated housing and clinical services, with a focus on addiction recovery, mental health and primary care. The clinic, which opened in 2019, serves approximately 3,000 patients annually.
