Orthopedic Surgery (Stratford, ON)

Stratford General Hospital is recruiting two Orthopedic Surgeons!

The successful candidates will:

• Join an existing team of two Orthopedic Surgeons.
• Have knowledge and skill in hip and knee arthroplasty.
• Fellowship training in arthroplasty is an asset.
• Have access to OR time, hospital-based fracture clinic & reasonable on-call coverage.
• Have the opportunity to share clinic space with established colleagues.
• Enjoy excellent consultant back up and ancillary staff support.
• Have the opportunity to participate in teaching students & residents.
• Join a working environment that is congenial and informal.
• Hold independent licensure with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO) or be eligible for licensure.
• Be a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).

The positions will commence in Fall 2024 and Summer 2025.

The HPHA is an Alliance of 4 hospitals located in Southwestern Ontario including; Clinton Public, Seaforth Community, St Marys Memorial, and Stratford General Hospitals.

Stratford General Hospital, a 120 bed acute and continuing care hospital, is the regional referral centre for Huron & Perth County residents, offering a broad range of medical and surgical inpatient services including critical care and neonatal intensive care, supported with internists, pediatricians, and surgical specialists such as urology, ENT, ophthalmology, gynecological, general, dentistry, and plastics.
