Nurse Practitioner

Maple Medical Center is a busy medical practice located in Milton ON, and we are now looking for a Nurse Practitioner to join our team of expert family physicians. Currently we have 2 practicing family physicians with ample space to add a Nurse Practitioner to our growing team. This position is a part-time permanent position for 3 days/week with the opportunity of growing to full time hours 5 days/week.

What we are looking for:

• Provide primary care to patients in clinic
• Coordinate care with in-house physicians and pharmacist team
• Perform proper documentation and record keeping to fulfill the medico-legal responsibilities
• Activities including and not limited to - conducting patient interviews, histories, arranging follow up care appointments
• Active practice registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Masters of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner or equivalent educational preparation
• Excellent patient focus and communication skills
• One (1) year of recent primary care nursing experience is an asset
• Experience with EMR is an asset

What we offer:

• Compensation is negotiable. Percentage income split is flexible, or a salary / rate per hour is also an option
• Office plus 1 or 2 fully equipped examination rooms.
• The opportunity of adding new patients and taking all walk-in patients since current clinic physicians are not accepting new patients nor walk-in.
• Registered Nurse performing all patient prep, injections and triage duties.
• Receptionist and Clinic administrator to handle rejected billing from the MoH and any general rising issues.
• Clinic Manger to take care of the submission/ reconciliation of billing.
