This is a permanent full-time opportunity and starts as soon as possible. This role is perfect for someone who has pharmacy experience as a Pharmacy Assistant, a Pharmacy Student or Intern, or an Internationally-Trained Pharmacy Professional who is pursuing licensing in Canada, who is detail-oriented and keen on working in a patient-facing role. Picking and labeling medications for pharmacy technicians to then verify, affixing patient information labels to medications and supporting patient service and communication; Communicating in-person and over the phone with third party insurance companies, patients and other healthcare professionals; Filling prescriptions in a retail pharmacy environment; Enter prescription or patient information through the Kroll software; Ensure day to day operations of the pharmacy are well maintained.
Qualifications

3 years of experience in any pharmacy setting (mandatory); Proficient in Kroll (mandatory); Excellent communications skills and an appreciation of the importance of patient safety, communication, and care; Excellent attention to detail, able to spot and fix errors; Fast learner, comfortable with on-the-job training; Ability to work both independently and as part of a large team.
