Job Summary:
The Department of Surgery, Section of Vascular Surgery at Westchester Medical Center has an immediate opening for a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible vascular surgeon.
Summary:
The new candidate will be joining a well-established vascular academic practice that has been present in the area for over 30 years. Our practice offers comprehensive care for all vascular pathologies, with access to a hybrid operating room, multiple catheterization labs, an accredited noninvasive vascular lab, and encompasses an outpatient vein practice. The position will be based at our Mid-Hudson campus, with responsibilities divided between Mid-Hudson Regional and Kingston Hospitals and the Westchester Medical Center Valhalla Campus.Qualifications/Requirements:The successful candidate will have training and experience in open and endovascular procedures and have a strong desire for excellence in patient clinical care. This is a hospital-employed position in a rapidly expanding multispecialty medical system that includes cardiothoracic surgery, multi-organ transplant and trauma services and enjoys the support of a ACGME accredited General Surgery residency and a certified Vascular fellowship.
Other:
The clinical responsibilities are exclusively vascular and shared with 2 other surgeons. Academic appointments commensurate with experience and qualifications are made through our affiliation with New York Medical College.
