Job Description
Wake Forest Health Network Family Medicine - Lewisville seeks a family medicine physician to join their well-established and thriving practice of 3 physicians and 1 advanced practice professional. The providers at Family Medicine – Lewisville offer a full range of primary care services for patients of all ages, including children, adolescents, adults and seniors (no OB care). This is a team-oriented practice with supportive colleagues and well trained clinical and clerical staff that go the extra mile for their patients. The practice offers a great opportunity for a family medicine physician who is desiring a comprehensive outpatient practice including a diverse patient population.
Lewisville, North Carolina, in Forsyth county, is 9 miles W of Winston-Salem, North Carolina (center to center) and 64 miles N of Charlotte, North Carolina. The town benefits from easy access to the nearby cities and towns with which it shares the Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point metropolitan area.
PRIMARY CARE SERVICES INCLUDE:
- Preventive medicine
- Women's health care
- Newborn, pediatric and adolescent medicine
- Diabetes care
- Physicals, including sports physicals for student athletes
- Geriatric care and treatment
- Vaccinations
- Preventative health and disease management education
- Outpatient surgical care for minor procedures, such as skin biopsies, mole or skin tag removal
SCHEDULE:
- Outpatient only
- Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
- Full-time providers work 40 hours per week (36 patient-facing hours and 4 administrative hours)
- Telephone only call, 1 week on a 5 week rotation with nurse triage
REQUIREMENTS:
- MD/DO, BC/BE in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Successful record of clinical and service excellence
