Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Family Physician to join our multidisciplinary team at the Family Care Clinic. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing high-quality, patient-centered care and will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop, implement, and monitor personalized treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and therapies as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, specialists, and mental health providers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education activities to stay current with medical advancements and best practices.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of a Family Medicine residency program.
- Board certification in Family Medicine.
- Valid medical license to practice in Alberta.
- Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of current medical practices and advancements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
