Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADON) - Full-Time

ABCM Corporation - Rolling Green Village and Indian Creek Independent & Assisted Living () Nevada, IA $35.00 to $36.50 per hour

Summary

Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Nursing Services (DON):

+ Plans for and directs the nursing care, treatments, procedures, and healthcare services to meet resident healthcare needs and personal preferences

+ Assists with the supervision, development, and implementation of a written health care plan in cooperation with other disciplines and in accordance with instructions of the attending physician

+ Assists with supervising and reviewing preventative and restorative nursing procedures for each resident to achieve and maintain the highest possible degree of function, self-care, and independence

Qualifications / Requirements

+ Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license

+ Minimum of one (1) year of experience, preferably in Geriatric Nursing, with management experience in leading a healthcare team desirable

+ If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a supervisory capacity

+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language

Additional Information

Job Type: Full-Time

Shift/Schedule: Days; position may also include additional administrative nursing tasks, as well as potential Charge Nurse duties

Wage Range*: $35.00/hr-$36.50/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/per year, up to ten (10) years
