As a Treatment-Refractory Depression Psychiatrist with us, you’ll:
- Provide specialized care and innovative treatment solutions for veterans battling treatment-refractory depression.
- Collaborate with a team of passionate professionals committed to delivering the highest quality of care.
- Honor the sacrifices of our veterans by providing them with comprehensive mental health support.
- Provide a full range of psychiatric services, diagnose behavioral disorders particularly for complex or unusually difficult Veterans.
- Provide comprehensive interventions and consultation to professional staff with Behavioral Health as well as other specialty programs.
- Develop, implement, and document the psychiatric treatment plan for an assigned caseload of Veterans, including prompt completion of clinical reminders.
- Function independently as a member of the Behavioral Health service line and VA Pittsburgh Medical Center, with full clinical privileges. Assume complete professional responsibility for your clinical assessments and findings, Veteran care decisions, and medical documentation.
Requirements: - Licensure: One full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory
- Board certification in Psychiatry preferred.
- Experience in treating treatment-refractory depression preferred.
- Dedication to serving veterans with respect and empathy.

- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm.
