Join Prescott Family Medical Associates to practice with an interdisciplinary team of professionals delivering primary health care services. This diverse and collaborative team emphasizes in Chronic Disease Management, Obstetrics and gynecological care, well baby care, geriatric and mental health programs, and health and wellness programs.
PFMA-FHO are complimented by: 3 Physicians, N.P, Dietitian, Registered Nurses, Social Worker, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Clerical Staff, and Administrator.
Prescott is a St. Lawrence Seaway town with a population of approx 4500 (catchment area of 12,000). Prescott is strategically located in Southeastern Ontario, 1 hour east of Kingston and 45 minutes south of Ottawa. It is at the intersection of two major highways, 401 and 416, and 5 minutes from the U.S Border.
Prescott has summer festivals like Loyalist Days, the Shakespeare Festival in July and August, summer open-air concerts in the amphitheatre on the river. Across the St. Lawrence River, the town of Odgensburg, New York, is a proud host to Broadway musicals. Our location offers small-town living and easy access to big city amenities.
Prescott Family Medical Associates is located at 555 King St. West in Prescott Ontario. Our offices are situated on the banks of the St. Lawrence River on parkland next to a swimming pool and tennis courts.
This is the ideal clinic for a physician with a long-term goal. New grads are welcomed. The successful candidate must be licensed or eligible for a license to practice in Ontario with accreditation in Family Medicine by The College of Physicians of Canada (CCFP). Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to inter-professional care are essential.
