General Pediatrician Opportunity in Belleville

Exciting opportunity for a Pediatrician to join a well established practice in a beautiful lakeside community on the Bay of Quinte, close to Prince Edward County! Work with a dynamic group of pediatricians, in both clinic and hospital settings.

Schedule flexible: Part time or Full time position available. Responsibilities include Hospital and Clinic coverage. Hospital coverage includes coverage of pediatric ward (6-8 bed pediatric unit), level 2A NICU, attendance at high risk deliveries (with approximately 1500 deliveries per year), and Emergency Room Pediatric consultations. Clinic coverage is for pediatricians own patients and coverage of pediatric urgent consult clinic.

Start Date flexible (preferably Fall 2024, or early 2025). Perfect opportunity for new grads or seasoned pediatricians, looking for a change. Remuneration is generous, funded via AFA with hospital stipend, and percentage of billings.

Belleville is 45 minutes from Kingston, 1 hours from Toronto and 2 hours from Ottawa, making travel and tertiary care pediatric support easily accessible. Belleville is perfectly situated along the 401 corridor. The city of Belleville is located on the north shore of the Bay of Quinte, in the eastern end of Ontario. The region is beautiful, with much to offer all interests!
