Charge Nurse - RN/LPN - 3rd Shift, Full-Time / Part-Time

ABCM Corporation - Guttenberg Care Center and Eagle Ridge Independent & Assisted Living () Guttenberg, IA $33.50 to $44.50 per hour

Summary

Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing:

+ Supervises nursing team members who provide direct resident care

+ Communicates with all healthcare providers and partners

+ Coordinates and implements nursing care as ordered by the physician and agreed to by the resident

+ Documents resident status / care / services in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner

+ Responsible for the provision of nursing services within the scope of licensure and in compliance with current standards of practice and corporate/care center policies and procedures

+ Follows the plan of care and ensures the overall health and well-being of each resident

Qualifications / Requirements

+ Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license

+ Experience in skilled nursing / long-term care (LTC) preferred

+ Knowledge and understanding of federal and state nursing facility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC, and Public Safety

+ If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a charge / supervisory capacity

+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language

Additional Information

Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time

Shift: 3rd Shift, Flexible Scheduling

Wage Range*: $33.50/hr-$44.50/hr, Negotiable (DOE)

Base Wage: $36.00/hr (RN) and $29.50/hr (LPN), Negotiable (DOE)

Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/per year, up to ten (10) years

3rd Shift Differential: $4.00/hr

Weekend Differential: $3.00/hr

Sign-On Bonus up to $8,000 (RN) and up to $5.000 (LPN), paid out over a six-month period
