Job Description: We are currently seeking a Locum Physician to provide holiday coverage at Tin Brandon, Manitoba. This temporary position offers the opportunity to contribute to our team by ensuring continuity of care for our patients while our regular physicians are on leave. The Locum Physician will play a vital role in maintaining the high standard of medical services and providing compassionate care to individuals in need during holiday periods. As a Locum Physician at the Wellness Clinic, you will play a crucial role in providing medical care to patients of all ages(primary scope of practice being women's sexual and reproductive health, and mental health).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducting comprehensive medical assessments and examinations.
• Diagnosing and treating a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Developing personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and medical imaging studies.
• Providing appropriate referrals to specialists and allied health professionals when necessary.
• Educating patients about preventive healthcare measures, lifestyle modifications, and disease management strategies.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records using our electronic health record system.
• Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Adhering to all relevant legal and ethical standards of medical practice.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure to practice medicine in the province of Manitoba.
• Certification by the College of Family Physicians of Canada or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
• Demonstrated clinical experience in primary care settings, preferably in a community or outpatient clinic.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting wellness.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in the use of electronic medical record systems.
