Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. You will work closely with healthcare professionals to provide optimal pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and interpret prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
  • Provide medication counseling to patients on proper usage, dosage, and potential side effects
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans
  • Monitor patient medication therapy for effectiveness and safety
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Stay updated on new medications, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical guidelines
  • Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff

Requirements:

  • Valid Pharmacist license in the state of [Location]
  • Bachelor's or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution, Licensed by the OC (Ontario College Of Pharmacists)
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
  • Experience in an acute care or hospital setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
