Alberta Health Services – North Zone, and the Department of Psychiatry at the St Therese Healthcare Centre, are currently looking for a General Psychiatrist to join their current team of Specialists and Family Medicine physicians and establish a full-time practice in the community of St Paul. This position will provide services in General Psychiatry Services.
The successful candidate is required to offer services within the St Therese Healthcare Centre and within a community-based Psychiatry practice, within the community of St Paul.
The candidate may choose to operate their business by joining an existing independent outpatient practice or form an independent outpatient office of their own. This is the candidate's independent business decision and will not be managed through the recruitment process.
Duties include but not limited to:
Current Alberta Practice Permit or valid CPSA Letter of Eligibility to practice in the advertised position (proof of to be included with application).
Have or be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada Certification (RCPSC).
The successful candidate must have training and expertise (FRCPC or FRCPC Eligible) in the management of Adult Psychiatry.
Recent and relevant experience within the past 2 years in all areas of practice required, as Most Responsible Physician.
