Job description
This position will be a contract position providing virtual therapy services to adults and will be permanently remote only. This is a contractual position for 12 months with opportunity to extend if the fit is right. You will start part-time with the possibility of building your caseload up to full-time. Our work with clients is on a 1-on-1 basis and sessions are conducted online through teleconferencing.

Requirements:
- Education: A Master’s Degree or equivalent in Speech Language Pathology.
- License: Must be registered or eligible to be registered with the College of Audiologists and Speech Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) or another Canadian province.
- Proof of professional liability insurance.
- Access to a computer, good quality microphone, webcam, and strong internet connection.
- Ability to work independently, and is self-directed.
- Possess strong communication (oral and written) skills with the ability to engage others.
- Possess strong time management and organizational skills.
- Be courteous, positive, and professional with all staff and clients.
- Committed to providing empathic and culturally sensitive professional care to clients.
- Must have a solid understanding of Canadian culture and Canadian English accent to be able to meet the requests of our clients.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Consultation, assessment, and treatment of communication difficulties via virtual care.
- Manage your own records of client progress, goal attainment, assessed needs, etc.
- Monitor client progress toward goals and adjust treatment plans and sessions as needed.
- Actively engage clients to ensure sessions are tailored to client goals.
Preferred experience:
- Previous experience working 1-on-1 with high-functioning adults.
- Previous experience working with accents/public speaking/voice use.
