Position Overview

Canadian Armed Forces military members receive comprehensive medical care from outpatient clinics on the Canadian Forces Bases across Canada. Pharmacy services are integral to the interdisciplinary teams on site. A full-time or part-time pharmacist is needed to work at the pharmacy at Canadian Forces Base Shilo. The pharmacy hours operate Monday to Friday 7.5hrs/day–37.5 hrs/week. Wages- Approximately from Pay rate $45-$56 – depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for dispensing and providing education to patients on their prescribed medication
• Communication with patients and other health care providers to provide efficient and effective collaborate care
• Maintain medication and pharmacy inventory
• You will have the opportunity to directly impact the health and wellbeing of our Canadian Armed Forces while working autonomously in the pharmacy

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the College of Pharmacists of Manitoba with proof of education and completion of national board examination
• Current CPR Certification current certification of Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers or equivalent
