Lakeridge Health is currently inviting applications for a Full-Time General Surgeon to join a team of 9 general surgeons providing community general surgery. This position involves broad-based community general surgery and urgent surgical care opportunities, with an interest/focus in breast surgery including a high volume of breast oncology. We are part of a five-site corporation, in association with the Durham Regional Cancer Centre. Remuneration will be based on the OHIP fee for service, with a HOCC on-call stipend. You will have teaching opportunities through the Lakeridge Health partnership with Queens University. Lakeridge Health offers many administrative options for those interested in pursuing physician leadership positions.
Applicants must have certification in General Surgery from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and must be licensed in the Province of Ontario.
