Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADON) - Full-Time
ABCM Corporation - Maple Manor Village and Maple Manor Independent & Assisted Living () Aplington, IA $32.00 to $39.00 per hour
Summary
Under the guidance and direction of the Director of Nursing Services (DON):
+ Plans for and directs the nursing care, treatments, procedures, and healthcare services to meet resident healthcare needs and personal preferences
+ Assists with the supervision, development, and implementation of a written health care plan, in cooperation with other disciplines and in accordance with instructions of the attending physician
+ Assists with the supervision and review of preventative and restorative nursing procedures for each resident so as to achieve and maintain the highest possible degree of function, self-care, and independence
Qualifications / Requirements
+ Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license
+ Minimum of one (1) year of experience, preferably in Geriatric Nursing with management experience in leading a healthcare team, desirable
+ If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a supervisory capacity
+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language
Additional Information
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift/Schedule: Day Shift; position will include administrative nursing tasks such as MDS submissions, as well as potential Charge Nurse duties
Wage Range*: $32.00/hr-$39.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)
Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.20/hr per year, up to ten (10) years
2nd Shift Differential: $5.00/hr
3rd Shift Differential: $3.00/hr
