As with many communities these days, burnout and last minute changes are an increasing concern. As such, our clinic is looking for both a GP and a GP-OB; ideally starting as a locum (to ensure mutual fit) and then transition to full time associate. We are also looking for any interested specialists looking to practice in the valley. Psychiatry in particular would be a wonderful addition to our community as all our patients have to drive to Calgary for care (after the expectedly long wait times). Our clinic practices full-spectrum family medicine and low risk obstetrics. As a GP, there is no expectation to provide OB or postpartum care, but it is an asset. Our clinic is well supported with an incredible front staff, and an in clinic RN. The views from our clinic are stunning! Canmore is an incredible community to live and work in.
