Charge Nurse - RN/LPN - 2nd Shift, Full-Time / Part-Time
ABCM Corporation - Lake Mills Care Center and Mills Harbour Independent & Assisted Living () Lake Mills, IA $27.50 to $33.00 per hour
Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing:
+ Supervises nursing team members who provide direct resident care
+ Communicates with all healthcare providers and partners
+ Coordinates and implements nursing care as ordered by the physician and agreed to by the resident
+ Documents resident status / care / services in a timely, accurate, and comprehensive manner
+ Responsible for the provision of nursing services within the scope of licensure and in compliance with current standards of practice and corporate/care center policies and procedures
+ Follows the plan of care and ensures the overall health and well-being of each resident
Qualifications / Requirements
+ Must have an unrestricted and active Iowa (or compact state) RN or LPN license
+ Experience in skilled nursing / long-term care (LTC) preferred
+ Knowledge and understanding of federal and state nursing facility rules and regulations, including licensing, OSHA, CDC, and Public Safety
+ If licensed as an LPN, the Iowa Board of Nursing requires the completion of a Board-approved supervision course within six (6) months of working in a charge / supervisory capacity
+ Must have excellent oral and written communication skills specific to the English language
Additional Information
Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time
Shift: 2nd Shift, 2p-10p; Flexible Scheduling
Wage Range*: $27.50/hr-$33.00/hr, Negotiable (DOE)
Base Wage: $30.00/hr (RN) and $27.00/hr (LPN), Negotiable (DOE)
Years of Experience Incentive Pay: $0.15/per year, up to ten (10) years
2nd Shift Differential: $0.50/hr
Weekend Differential: $1.00/hr
