Job Title: Locum family physician

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician to join our team at the Commercial Drive Medical Clinic. This is a locum position in our outpatient and walk-in facility. We are a patient-focused clinic, committed to providing comprehensive and personalized healthcare services. Our team of professionals is dedicated to ensuring the highest standard of care for our diverse patient demographic. This position does not require on-call duties, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, conducting thorough examinations, making accurate diagnoses, and developing effective treatment plans. The Physician or Surgeon will also be expected to maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhere to all medical protocols, and stay updated with the latest industry knowledge and trends. This position offers a competitive compensation package based on a fee-for-service model, with an estimated 20 patient hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care within the outpatient and walk-in setting.
• Conduct thorough examinations to diagnose illnesses and injuries.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Stay updated with the latest industry knowledge and trends.

Requirements:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid license to practice medicine in the British Coloumbia .
• Proven experience as a Physician or Surgeon.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of medical laws and ethics.
