MedStar Health is seeking a general Hematology/Oncology physician to be part of a large physician practice at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital, one of the bases of the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute. The dynamic candidate will be given an opportunity to practice in a major community affiliate of an NCI designated comprehensive cancer center based on clinical care in a network.
The MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute consists of ten hospitals operated by MedStar Health with the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center as its research base. The practice based at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital will focus on bread-and-butter hematology/oncology with treatment of a wide variety of cancers. The incoming physician will be a part of the multi-disciplinary team of breast surgeons, medical oncologists, hematologists/oncologists, radiation oncologists, and genetic counselors to provide outstanding care to patients in the community. This group practice includes covering MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, Good Samaritan Hospital's sister hospital three miles down the road for inpatient consult service.
MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital is a community-based, academic hospital located in northeast Baltimore City that's provided high-quality, compassionate care to its community since 1968. Recognized as a specialty center for rehabilitation, our services also include diabetes, emergency medicine, geriatrics, orthopaedics, vascular care, wellness, and wound healing. Additionally, the campus includes two senior housing complexes and the FutureCare at Good Samaritan nursing home facility.

This position has a hiring range of $308,500 - $504,107.
